ValMax was founded in the year 2005 by Satish Khanna and since 2011 after his retirement; the organization is engaged in helping various companies to grow their businesses through globalization or enhancing excellence in business operations. Valmax provides strategic direction for creating future value in the current business or for the intellectual property that is in the pipeline for development. It has also been providing national and global network in creating growth through strategic alliances, deploying synergies among partners. Currently Valmax is working with 8 to 10 companies spread across the globe engaged in industries like chemical, pharma, agro chemical, Branded Apparels and Bio-Catalysis with business size ranging from few million to 250 Million US$ annual turnover.

Satish Khanna

  • Chemical Engineer with over 40 years of experience in Pharmaceuticals, Agro-chemicals and Coatings Industry.
  • Alumni of Panjab University Chandigarh, India; Harvard University, USA; IMD, Lausanne Switzerland; INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France; IIM Ahmedabad, India and Sophia University, Japan.
  • Last assignment was as Group President of Lupin Limited, an Indian pharmaceutical company with a turnover of USD 2 Billion.
  • During his professional career, the functional responsibilities handled were in the field of Manufacturing, Works Management, Human Resource Management, Team Building, International Business Development, Global Sourcing and Creating International Strategic Alliances.
  • Currently, Member of Business Advisory Boards of few companies with annual turnover ranging from a few million to USD 250 Million.
  • Provides Strategic Advice to companies in India and abroad to help them achieve business goals in a given period of time
  • • One of his passions is to spot a young entrepreneur where he sees potential, invest in the company's equity and then actively involve himself in setting and achieving the goals for the company by becoming an Active Investor

Shilpa Thakkar

  • Academically Graduate in Commerce followed by MBA in Finance from Cardiff University, UK.
  • Has worked in Morgan Stanley and J P Morgan as AVP - Training and Development for 6+ years.
  • Has functional experience in full gamut of Operations Management, Corporate Finance, Human Resource Management and Learning & Development.
  • She is currently the CFO & Group HR head at Fullife Healthcare

ValMax considers essential to closely interact with the top table of the associate company constituting promoters, CEOs, business heads and the functional heads. Close association with the top management is necessary as sometimes it involves debating, deciding and implementing certain major initiatives that are capable to make significant business course correction and for that it requires inputs, understanding and acceptance of the top table, before implementation.

ValMax also takes equity, in some of the companies, before association where deeper and long-term relationship is necessary. It strengthens bond and creates stronger commitment from and by both sides.
